I try not to collect any information or plant any cookies on your system that I don’t need. That said, cookies are necessary for some functional aspects of the website—for example, the Shopping Cart functionality is only possible through the use of cookies.

My site collects personal information for two reasons: My newsletter and for purchases on the website. For the delivery of the newsletter, I get your email address, and your name. I obviously need your email address in order to deliver it to you. Your name helps the email get through spam filters, because the email can actually be addressed to you.

The site also collects personal information for the purpose of selling. My system asks you to create an account, which will require the submission of several pieces of personal information, including your physical address. Again, this is collected in order to facilitate the commercial processes on my site. Your personal information and your account can be erased and removed at your request.

Unlike most sites, I don’t have any tracking software installed, which means that there are no cookies planted in order to facilitate it. The only tracking I do is through reference to server logs. These collect IP address, browser and operating system.

I use Mailchimp for my newsletter, and information is shared with them in order to facilitate the delivery of the newsletter. They don’t share information any further. However, the newsletter information that you give me can also be erased and removed on request.

No information from my website will ever be sold to anyone else.
